TacheTag
Scottish Opera

Ever fancied sporting a spectacular set of whiskers?

Now you can with Scottish Opera’s brand new TacheTag app.

Inspired by the current production of The Barber of Seville, you can choose from a range of stylish moustaches in order to create your most dashing look.

How does it work?

Simply enter the app, take a picture and pick your preferred tache. Once these steps are complete, your new look is uploaded to the gallery and you’re part of the TacheTag Community. You can also share your tache with friends by sending your picture via SMS or email.

Once uploaded, photos created are available to view by all TacheTag users.

The fun doesn’t end online – want to see great taches in action?

If you’re after an evening packed with laughter, larger than life characters and some of the best-known music in opera, look no further than The Barber of Seville – there’s something for everyone (and a moustache to fit too).

Great facial hair is an essential part of the show’s style, with each of the men on stage sporting inidividual looks. Throughout the tour, members of the chorus will ditch their stage taches for the real deal, in support of Movember 2011.

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world. Their aim is to raise funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.
